In our March 25 session we focus on a major aspect of our resilience,
both personally and collectively: a healthy, sustainable, and accessible food system.

We have 2 short presentations on this topic:
Ashley Heger will speak about the work of the Orange County Food Council whose goal is to grow a local food system that ensures health, sustainable agriculture, and access for all.

Grace Baucom is a high school senior in Orange County who has worked with the Climate Leadership and Energy Awareness Program at UNC.  Her 10-minute documentary explores how extreme heat, one of the many byproducts of climate change,
affects sustainable farmers in the NC Piedmont.
