In essence meditation is bringing awareness to the present moment. Major skills taught include recognizing our thoughts, mental habits and patterns; fully allowing “what is”; consciously choosing where to direct our attention; navigating our emotions; embracing total self-acceptance, and connecting with our spiritual essence.

Several techniques are taught and practiced, as well as breathing exercises that calm the nervous system. Meditation is both eminently practical and a portal to the Sacred.
